How to knit a basic cable

Knitted cables look a lot more tricky than they actually are – cables are simply twists in your work that you make by briefly using a third needle.

I love using cables to embellish projects to make them look extra fancy/cool – a sweater, scarf, hat or mitts can look extra special just by adding in a few cables!
